After all of the commotion from Baga Beach
and the wedding function, we decided to take a break and spend the afternoon
having some fun on a secluded beach.
The main beaches in town were jam packed
with people so we took a little ten minute drive to find a place with
significantly less people. The most enjoyable time to be on the beach is during
the early morning or evenings. There are less people, the sun isn’t as harsh
and the light is simply beautiful.
We started off by taking a quick dip in the
sea and proceeded to have a sand castle building competition, all in good fun
of course our favourite Scotch Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve.
As the sun started to set over the horizon
I saw a small little shack with hammock hung on the trees and an old man
sitting at the counter and looking at us, hoping we stop buy and give him some
company and of course Business!
We reached the shack and looked at the
place, the man in the counter was Mr. Bob who wore a Bob Marley t-shirt and
wrinkles at the right places and looked like he has been in Goa from the hippy
era.
Now this is perfect evening, Snacks being
served, Chilling in the hammock overlooking the sea, the sun set, warm humid
air and Black Dog - tripe Gold reserve (which Me. Bob happily served us also
also poured a drink or two for himself!)
