Scotch whisky been always associated with aging in oak cask for an “x” amount of time and the golden rule says minimum three years!

Scotch whisky is divided into five distinct categories: single malt Scotch whisky, single grain Scotch whisky, blended malt Scotch whisky, blended grain Scotch whisky, and blended Scotch whisky, the quality of these are greatly influenced by the nature and quality of the cask along with the quality of the barley used for the blend and aging.
